Abstract: Maglić mountain is located in mountain group Volujak, Bioč and Maglić, on Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia and Montenegro border. Maglić is high mountain (2386 m), composed of Triassic limestone, which was exposed to the Pleistocene glaciation. In the present time recent periglacial processes are presented, which are extended on entire mountain ridge. The most presented are solifluction and mechanical weathering (soil freezing) process. In this paper is explained climatic factors influence on lithologic surface, which causes periglacial process development groups, snow – and frost elief forms. Inside these groups is done next classification on partcular relief form.
Keywords: Maglić, periglacial relief, snow relief forms, frost relief forms, solifluction.
