Abstract: Slovenia is one of the major foreign investors in Bosnia and Herzegovina: it founded about 200 enterprises and total Slovenian investments in the period 1991-2001 account for about 125 milions USD. In 2002 Slovene exports in Bosnia and Herzegovina account for almost 500 milions €, imports remained on about 70 milions €. Political regional cooperation is based in the frame of the Central European Initiative. From the perspective of EU enlargment in South-Eastern Europe, the emphasis within migration policy in Slovenia should be devoted to integration policy and the inclusion of immigrants into the new society, also as a medium for a better regional cooperation.

Key words: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, political-teritorial system, economy, migrations.
