Abstract
Ecotourism in recent years, attracts great attention, it has become an alternative to mass tourism, particularly as a means of economic development in undeveloped regions. The Balkans Serbia is subregion of eastern Serbia, which is characterized by poor economic development, negative development tendencies on one hand. On the other hand, this region has a large untapped tourist dimension of the territory with high eco-tourism potential. This work has been identified and mapped potential ecotourism sites in the Balkans Serbia with GIS.
